We are very pleased to be able to offer new fully comprehensive Covid-19 travel insurance from leading UK insurance company, AXA partners, in conjunction with ABTA and promoted by the School Travel Forum.

Developed in partnership with ABTA and AXA, our new insurance policy, STF Travel Sure for school and youth groups,  has been created exclusively for UK schools and youth groups travelling with a School Travel Forum member.

Highlights of our new cover include:

  • Cancellation cover for passengers testing positive for Covid-19
  • Cancellation cover for passengers who’ve been in contact with someone testing positive for Covid-19
  • Cover for all mainstream activities, individual and team sports and winter sports
  • No exemptions for pre-existing medical conditions
  • 24/7 access to a ‘telemedical’ online video service
  • Access to the Traveleye app with safety information to all travelling staff; and
  • A dedicated telephone number for Party Leaders.

For more details of our new insurance policy, click here. Or read our FAQs, the Summary of Cover and Table of Benefits or all the General Terms of the cover.

Please be assured if you have already booked with us and are insured with Endsleigh, this too offers excellent Covid-19 cover.

Full details of your insurance cover will be available on your client portal once your booking is confirmed. All members of your group are insured from receipt of first deposits.

If you wish to organise your own travel insurance, please let us know so that we can ensure this is not included in your tour cost.

If you are an adult ensemble:

Our band and choir tour packages do not include travel insurance as we understand that many people will have cover for themselves. It is vital that you ensure all your group have adequate travel insurance in place before departure. We would be happy to pass on the details of insurers who offer very good cover. Please contact us for details.

The UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC)

Under Britain’s new agreement with the EU, UK residents can continue to access emergency care in the EU, using the new GHIC, which will gradually replace existing European Health Insurance Cards (EHIC).

EHIC and GHIC cards offer equivalent protection and you only need to apply for a GHIC when your EHIC expires.

The GHIC is free and you can apply for one here.
